This café will snuggle fascinating architecture of the new and old Bandra and Mumbai, #Mumbai50 as the pincode of the area and has a lot to do with the café too like their phone numbers end up with 50. That’s where you see the owners have their hearts attached to it. This café is irresistibly charming in its own way and by the team behind Bhaaijaanz – The Salman Khan themed café in the bylanes of Bandra. The décor and vibe is very communal and very comforting, the café has three different sections – a sheesha lounge (offcourse), a dinning section and a private dining for larger groups. To eat you’ll find a lot of Indian-fusion, Italian and Continental on the menu. A perfect spot at Pali Hills for great sheesha, food-desserts and off-course the warm service.

Xico, Kamala Millls
A new Tex-Mex restaurant is up and we had to tell you about it. As we gear a CIA educated, Scott Linquist, culinary director at Coyo Taco from Miami and ex Dos Caminos, is setting up a “modern Mexican” restaurant at Kamala Mills. Sahil Saigal and Shiraz Patel (of Trikaya) have partnered too. Their plan is to take you away from the bubble of eating Tex-Mex and introduce Mumbai to the true Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients and authentic Mexican-fare. Look forward to their lip-smacking Mexican flavor.
Cheers! Xico will open in September 2017.

Yoku Moku, Fort
A Japanese cookie brand Yoku Moku, makers of some of Japan’s dreamiest/creamiest cookies is all set to step in Mumbai (Fort). This buttery cookie Japanese brand was founded in 1970 by Noriichi Fujinawa. Their range of cookies and cigars is made out of pure butter!!! YES THERE IS NO LIE ABOUT IT!! While other ingredients used are in their purest form. Because most normal cookies are prone to breaking easily, Yoku Moku introduced cigar rolls that stay intact. They also have a few other delicacies like Double Chocolate Blanc, Billet Aux Amandes – a cookie made by sprinkling almonds, White Chocolate Cookies, Cigare Au The, Cigare Au Chocolat and more. Yoku Moku was inspired by a small town in northern Sweden where the weather is severely cold, but homemade confectioneries and cookies keep the people warm. Wish we knew it when we visited Sweden last year – Oh this Scandinavian beauty!
Yoku Moku will open shop in Fort on 12th August! Keep in touch for more details.
